MEDTalks is a conference where Hopkins-affiliated students can get together to engage with and learn from presenters who focus on Medicine, Education, and Development. We hope to broaden the perspectives of healthcare and health equity within the Hopkins student body, while encouraging students to expand their knowledge and understanding of impoverished and underrepresented communities throughout the globe and in their own backyards. Collaborating with JHU UAID, we hope to incite stimulating discussion about public health, medicine, and health inequity with the invitation of Hopkins alumni, physicians, professors, and community partners at the School of Medicine, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Baltimore community.
