Egyptian Sun Productions is a multicultural Middle Eastern dance group at The Johns Hopkins University, specializing in Turkish and Egyptian fusion cabaret. Founded in 2001 by Dori Witt and Nikki Traylor-Knowles, Egyptian Sun has grown to be one of Baltimore's favorite belly dance troupes, dancing Turkish and Egyptian fusion cabaret. We hold Beginner through Advanced classes and have performed at venues all over Baltimore and the D.C. area. With members of all ages and affiliations, Egyptian Sun stands out with its diversity and uniqueness among other belly dance troupes in the area. This year's annual show, Hiplash, will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 6:00 pm in the Baltimore Museum of Art Joseph & Rebecca Meyerhoff Auditorium. This year's show features special guest artist, Naimah. Tickets can be purchased at www.egyptiansun.org Mattin Center Dance Studio, Offit Building, Homewood Campus Beginner classes: Sundays 4-6 pm (Free for all JHU students!) Intermediate classes: Saturdays 5-7 pm Advanced classes: Sundays 6-8pm
